Spyder is having a show in December at Balderdash Books and Art (Julie's show there is currently wrapping up) in Greenwood!

Mark is moving into KrabJab Studio to join Kyle and Julie, starting December!

Julie is having a show at Nucleus Salon on Queen Anne for December and January! Reception is December 3rd from 6-8 pm.

June 18th Session: 40's girl

Here's a photo of Sarah posing as a "40s Girl". Sarah already posted her result, I'll upload mine soon but it's unfinished still.

A commission I'm working on. Dark accents and more chroma power are needed in the face. I spent two hours on a stuffed monkey in the upper right hand corner a few nights ago. At about 4 in the morning I decided it completely disrupted the composition and wiped it out. (Better sooner than later!) I'm happy with the alphabet letters instead. Works better as a whole and also pays homage to my best friend in the world, this little boys uncle, mister Art Griggley.

So here's what I have from the session I posed for... there are definitely things that are bugging me about it... I'm torn about whether I should plough ahead with some acrylic color or spend some time trying to improve things... perhaps I'll just mess around with it on the computer and see how it goes...
