Heather Hudson's Illustration Show at Krab Jab Studio!

Mark, Julie and Brian will be hosting a discussion panel at Norwescon 33 this year, on Sunday April 4, 11-12 pm in Cascade Room 13. We'll be addressing the issue of surviving as an artist during an economic recession.

A commission I'm working on. Dark accents and more chroma power are needed in the face. I spent two hours on a stuffed monkey in the upper right hand corner a few nights ago. At about 4 in the morning I decided it completely disrupted the composition and wiped it out. (Better sooner than later!) I'm happy with the alphabet letters instead. Works better as a whole and also pays homage to my best friend in the world, this little boys uncle, mister Art Griggley.

So here's what I have from the session I posed for... there are definitely things that are bugging me about it... I'm torn about whether I should plough ahead with some acrylic color or spend some time trying to improve things... perhaps I'll just mess around with it on the computer and see how it goes...
